Britannia And The B787

HEARD THROUGH THE GRAPE VINE THAT BRIT ARE JUST ABOUT TO ORDER THE 787. ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING?

Konkordski 13th Mar 2005 12:53

It was the subject of an inaccurate news report a few days back.

Britannia has not ordered it - although it is considering the type for its future fleet.

787

787 order not likely for a year or two as they
just renewed the 757/767 interiors - ref'
the launch recently, nice job, seems they
are back on on track.
787 interesting choice - wonder what's
planned long term - time will tell ?

I think you will find they did not choose to upgrade the B767-300 interior which are the planes which the B787 would replace.

Oh ok then ................the 76' 200's;)

The 762 fleet has had new style ciling panels and o/h bins installed, along with new LED style screens. Jury is still out regarding upgrade to leather seating.

Boeing had a great deal of 'input' into re-vamp of fleet, which may bring a big tui smile to someones face in future....
