Futura flight yesterday , question .

Hi
Anyone know why the FUA 151?? EDI/TFS yesterday was shown on the airport arrivals as having made a stopover in Seville ? It was not havily delayed on arrival in TFS , only about 1 hr 20 min , so poss was medical emergency ?

Just curious .

Merry Christmas all

Probably a fuel stop.

WindSheer 27th Dec 2004 08:27

Probably right.

EDI-TFS is a long old slog for a 737?
You are looking at between 4 and 5 hours - surely a tech stop.

The 734 is doing that flight in winter, and with strong headwind (which was the case) and full payload, it must make a fuel stop either in Seville or Santiago, depending on the route.

Would have thought they would use a 737-800 on that route surely?

Get a mixture of both 300's and 800's doing the NCL-TFS flights. Suppose it depends what is available on the day. Not unusual to see them plan a fuel stop on the way from NCL either, AGP being the last destination of choice.
