going double daily from BHX to DXB, from 1st June '05

Both flights to be operated by A330 in "high density" configuration.

Is the 'High Density' configuration the one where Business Class has about the same about of space as economy on an AAL 777?
A shame because the 'normal?' Emirates J class is brilliant.
Amazing isn't it how so many foreign airlines manage to operate to airports outside of LHR.

'Normal J Class' as you put it is the same J class whether it's a 3 class A332 or a Hi Density 2 class aircraft. On all EK aircraft 'business is business', and pretty good albeit no flat beds yet.
