Astreaus CWL - FNC
 

Some relatives were due to fly CWL-FNC with AEU in early May.

They received a letter this week, advising a change of operator to EAF, at least for the outbound sector.

Advised them (in a reassuring manner) that they'll just be on a slightly older and noiser aeroplane than they were expecting!

Suspect delays to fleet additions at AEU are the reason - anyone like to confirm?? (knowing there are lots of AEU connections here at Pprune :D )

We do a lot of these regional flights to FNC on behalf of this tour operator.

In this case, we were unable to operate this particular flight because of our other commitments. The charterer obviously had to look elsewhere.

Our new deliveries are on schedule or slightly early

The old 200 can be a bit noisy, during takeoff in particular.
