RJ's The Reckoning

No posts on this subject yet which surprises me. Chicago has told United and American to reduce flights in a peak period by 5%. The word is that , for United at least, it will be RJ's flights that are reduced.
This situation was predicted by an aviation analyst a year ago who suggested that unrestrained expansion by RJ operators would lead to saturation at major airports. I suppose you have to hit airline managers with a base-ball bat to get their attention.
Will we now see a major fight between RJ operators, who have put a lot of money into aircraft in the big RJ expansion, and their partners? The politicians who represent, and who travel to, the destinations served by RJ fleets are bound to get involved. Which will be the next major airport to declare saturation?
