Basically it is lightly snowing.

With this snow on the way I shall look and feel like a polar by morning!

I find it incredible that MAN had to close at all, they had days of warning, a large snow clearing fleet and two runways to choose from and still a closure for what amounted to about 1 inch of snow, what is going on ?? Anybody in Management or in the know care to enlighten us please.

Several diversions away from MAN last night, as well as those mentioned

AF1368 diverted to Liverpool (eventually made it to MAN later on)
BA1408 diverted back to Heathrow

Major problems with de-icing on the ramp today at Manchester as well, BA and partner services at Terminal 3 particularly badly affected.
