Recovery well underway say EI pilots

Aer Lingus will turn a projected 27 loss this year into a tidy profit.

27 loss? So there was never a need for the survival plan, just for WW to give up tea and biscuits for the year?

Into profit again then! What do you guys working for EI think about this?

With new routes coming online this autumn, what's the chance of the fleet increasing again as was planned and therefore the need for more crews?

Any thoughts?

The Irish board has rumours of Airbus and Boeing in town to settle the issue of the fleet one way or the other.

Given that people seem happy with the 330s and I certainly like the 32x series as SLF, methinks Toulouse and some 319s to replace the 734 and 735 [four of which, conveniently, are on order] is the right call.
