According to a plane spotting site
Last night's MAN -BHD went to BFS after 2300
did a few circuits before landing
Suggestions of landing gear stuff but nothing official

Three aircraft down today by the look of it.

CY landed 16:37 Amsterdam on 16th not moved since
TB landed 22:33 Amsterdam on 16 not moved since
BA landed 00:12 Belfast Aldergrove early hours of 17th and appears not to have moved
OE - only started on the BHX-AMS due out 10:30 but left 11:26 just got back from BHD a bit late

Quite incredible really but on the bright side they operated 07:00 BHX-BHD on time compared to EI Regional who cancelled their first two flights and first BHX-BHD departed 16:07

According to Flightradar 24 today isn't looking much better either:
6 out of 14 departures from BHD cancelled
1 out of 3 from NQY cancelled
2 out of 2 from NCL cancelled

plus obviously the return flight of those. If people are claiming compensation there is no way they can be making money at the moment and it must be costing a fortune.

Led to believe they didn't get a single slot at Paris Orly though, so it's not going to get far without them.

My wife booked a flight to go from SOU to BHD for next Friday. After booking the times were changed but the same day. This happened 3 times then followed by a cancellation notice. Refund takes up to 90 days, so she’s has tried to speak with them 3 times on the phone but gave up after 1 hour 8 minutes in the queue. She’s has now booked with another airline for the same day.

" She’s has now booked with another airline for the same day."

And no doubt wil never book with them again - and tell all her friends and family

Poimtless going up against the likes of BA and KL at Heathrow (AMS, BHD, and NCL). Business and regular pax may be collecting points and miles on the Executive Club, Flying Blue, etc., and be reluctant to change.

Maybe routes with no competition would be better, BUT it's no good if nobody knows about them. Is it not necessary to advertise and promote these routes ruthlessly? This is particularly important on LHR routes as "the connections to the world" angle can be used as well.

I'm lost for words. And also saddened, as I never went along with the 'flymaybe' tag that was unfairly applied to flybe mk1.
I hate to say this as people's livelihoods are at stake, but this company does not deserve to survive.

Correct - but if you then cancel them you might as well just not bother -as with Jensdad I find this incredibly depressing

I can only imagine that morale in the place is at absolute rock bottom. Sorry state of affairs for those working there.

I’m not sure. There seems to be a group of people, at least online, who continually say everything is great and going to plan despite the evidence clearly showing otherwise. However my old friend Bean has been very quiet…

I'm quiet because i'm heartily sick of contributing to this pointless forum. Look at my posting history I havent't posted since 29th June for christs sake
If you want to taunt me I will take appropriate action

Whatever was the problem with the fleet seems to be resolved today. Only cancellation was BHX-BHD-BHX.

It might be an improvement but it’s hardly something to applaud. For a company the size of Flybe the norm should be zero cancellations.

No airline has zero cancellations!

Yes, Flybe have had too many of late, but the record of other regionals (Emerald and Eastern especially spring to mind) is not a lot better of late.

And that just sums up the acceptance of mediocrity. It is perfectly possible to run for weeks without any cancellations if you schedule appropriately, have adequate crew numbers, good engineering back up, etc. the bete noir tends to be the weather. An airline that shrugs its collective shoulders and just assumes it will have frequent cancellations will indeed have frequent cancellations.
