Flyr will not (as many will have guessed) be starting a route between Gatwick and Oslo after all

Between now and Saturday 25 March, Norse Atlantic are selling flights between Gatwick and Oslo cheaply. From 26 March (ie beginning of S23), the price increases 6 fold. It seems Norse don't want to sell these tickets right now.
Are Norse definitely stopping the route, or are they just not allowing ticket sales until maybe a fortnight before departure so that Oslo-USA passengers fill up the seats instead ?

They should have a UK AOC by the summer so no need for LN- B787s to operate the stopping service via LGW. I assume transit passengers have to get off and re-clear security?
It's been reported elsewhere that Suriname Airways are looking at starting flights from Paramaribo to Frankfurt and London. Suriname Airways currently fly to a single destination in Europe, from Paramaribo to Amsterdam with a leased A340. The airline is receiving an A330 in April or May and could be a possible contender for a Paramaribo to London Gatwick route.
On a side note, but has Jazeera Airways totally abandoned flights from Kuwait, either to LGW and LHR?

Is there really demand for a Paramaribo - London route ? I know it operated years ago, but Surinam Airways have struggled financially for some time, BA will fly to neighbouring Guyana from next month and links between the UK and Surinam are not exactly strong - the UK doesn't have an embassy or consulate in Surinam, and Surinam has just a honorary consul in the UK. American Airlines as the sole US-based airline are terminating their flights to Paramaribo in the spring. If Surinam Air want to expand... perhaps Atlanta or Sao Paulo might be more credible ?

I know it operated years ago, but Surinam Airways are not exactly in financial good health, BA will fly to neighbouring Guyana from next month and links between the UK and Surinam are not exactly strong - the UK doesn't have an embassy or consulate in Surinam, and Surinam has just a honorary consul in the UK. American Airlines are cutting their flights to Paramaribo in the spring, leaving no direct routes between Surinam and the USA
