They were reported to be on 4 year leases when it was first announced they were joining the fleet, so this is confirming they will leave the fleet when the leases expire.

Would be interesting to see Deltas reaction as I’m sure they don’t want there shared to be worth zero.
SRB has put on the market a large stake (up to 50%) of his stock in Virgin Galactica - Up to $1bn could be raised.
This would free up cash to inject into VS
and potentially also help stricken Virgin Australia which has $1.2bn of debt (Virgin group has a 10% share in VA)

These continuing leaks out of the Government to Sky News are a total disgrace. Thomas Cook, then Flybe, now Virgin Atlantic all seeing sensitive stuff leaked to Sky News. It’s about time someone in Government got a grip of this.

Given the leak doesn’t involve the Government how do you know that’s the source? Mark Kleinman is a great journalist and has brilliant sources throughout the city. It’s more likely the company appointed is the source of the leak to him.

Beardy must be desperate! He should have done this a month ago! I wonder what value his 'fire sale' of shares will raise? A lot less than it might have done? I guess his rating in the eyes of the British public and the fact that he was hoping for a huge bail out, that did not occur, has induced this desperate measure?
