Also take a look at at the permitted movements in 14. They're not that far short of half way there with just the Loganair flights.

Thanks fjencl, that seems to be the latest state of play. It would therefore appear to rule out A319/320 type operations then. I do wonder if a diversion of such a type would be permitted or not under the conditions.

I think if I was Stobart, I would now go back to the Council and clarify that such updated and more environmental types such as E190/195 and A220 are included, if necessary quoting the mission creep over the years at LCY.

Unless there is a real liklihood of such operations, they need to let sleeping dogs lie and focus on the current operation. The level of opposition to such a change could be hugely distracting.

So can anybody confirm if this was a planned change or where these flights previously on sale - don't remember any mention of it?

They're not, though Eddie Stobart operate the big warehouse on site. I'm not even sure if Stobart Group have still have an interest in that or whether it's been leased out/sold.

As at March 2019 the Stobart Group owned 11.8% of Eddie Stobart, the company whose shares have been suspended so it has a very much minority interest.

Still being a brand new Airport, with poor links, axlack of signage .
And very early days .
It still could be a success, they sure made a good effort with Southend .
It just needs time

No idea on load factors vs yield but for a new service that sounds not too bad.
