GCELH is currently being retired as we speak before being flown to QLA on Monday.
GCELX is due to perform its last flight on the 4th Nov and will start the retirement process on the 5th.
GCELV will retire shortly after this on the 7th/8th November
GCELO will retire around the 22nd November.
EDI is confirmed all B738 base by mid December and NCL will be also all B738 by end of April. This will only leave EMA, BFS and LBA with the 300’s for summer 2019.
As always in aviation nothing is 100% confirmed until it actually happens however this is the plan at the minute.
QLA is Lasham. However, Jet2's retirees usually end up at Kemble, Gloucestershire. All rotable (reusable) parts are removed from the aircraft and returned to Jet2's spares inventory. This includes engines, landing gear, seats, galley and instruments. What is left, i.e. the airframe is essentially scrap metal and is rendered as such, to live again as baked beans tins and similar.

321 for Jet 2
Heard a great rumour they are going to introduce the 321LR and are currently offering £50k golden hellos to type rated experienced crews .

Just seems strange given the fleet is all Boeing (minus leased A321/A330's)

I'd have thought that they'd be more interested in getting a deal for end of the line A321s. Similar to what they did with Boeing.

Glasgow is ALL 738, they did have 757s the first few years of the Glasgow base, I think the 757s are based at LBA and MAN only, the 757s will only visit GLA, NCL etc to operate the EWR flights
