ATR should be in service from Monday. There may be the occasional flight between then and month end which is still on the 2000 for crewing reasons.

Its a shame the Embraer 145 cannot fly into London City that would have been ideal for LCY/IOM especially given Loganair have several in the fleet.
I wonder why the Embraer 135, 170 and 190 are all approved but the 145 not?

The E145 doesn't do well with short runways and obstacles. LCY would be a terrible idea in a E145.

LM have 4 EM135’s in the fleet.

...and none of them are fitted with reverse thrust, just like the 145s. Stopping distances, particularly on a wet runway, are far greater than anything you'll find at LCY.

Luxair happily flew the ERJ-135 on LCY-LUX for years but as discussed, they had rather impressive thrust reversers.

The Logan jungle jets would be a bad idea for LCY for reasons mentioned by others.

IIRC bmi ordered the E135s/E145s [that are now with Logi] without reversers to save money and only subsequently realised the limitations that imposed on their operational performance.

Following the order any ones they received with reversers (RJXN/O/CKAF/G) has them disabled too.

It is a pity for sure, however on another point would BA have taken the capacity loss by in theory using an ER3 on IOM-LCY on the same amount of rotations per day?

Just seen on the Loganair website that Paris Charles De Gaulle is listed as a destination, is this a codeshare or is it a future destination, Looks like its for flights to/from Derry and Inverness

They have a codeshare with Flybe.

LDY/INV-MAN (Loganair)

then...

MAN-CDG (Flybe)

And vice versa.

It'll be a Flybe codeshare over Manchester for both options. Several BE destinations not served by LM (BHX, SOU etc) appear in the drop-down menu.
