On the topic of frames getting painted, XH was formerly painted anyways up to mid 2018 and XI did carry the Star Alliance livery for the first part of its time with BM, obviously it was then shipped off to Brussels Airlines for a while, however I don’t really see why they couldn’t get the livery. I’ve heard other things for SAJG-I.

Also, (this is a very small thing) but does anyone know if JB/JC will be getting names now too?

Interesting. So an ex flybmi Embraer is, on average, worth a little more than 2m GBP.

They weren't likely to get any change from any form of sale then were they...

The Saab2000 is still showing as operating IOM to LCY for BA in June next year, is it being kept?. I thought they were all to be gone by January.

That would leave BA with a problem unless they were willing to use one of their own E170s as Loganair has nothing competitive in their inventory that would be suitable for LCY ops (unless the ATR42-600 shows up soon).

Ah cheers! Very interesting, I thought (the previously owned BM aircraft, not leased) they still belonged to AIL!

There is a 42-500/600 on the way I believe, as IOM crew are going on conversion courses in September or October. Where the a/c is coming from, I'm not sure.

Exactly, however, it’s improved significantly since they’ve fallen into the hands of their new dictators.

Im surprised we haven’t heard anything else about these mythical ATRs. The MD suggested they’d be arriving in Q3 of this year. Yet still no announcement on wether they’ll be used or new, let alone -500s/-600s.

Well, Euromanx used the Q300 to LCY and VLM the Fokker 50, so its is back to the olden days of slower turboprops.

I wonder if one of the ATR42s will be delivered in BAs livery if IOM is meant to be one of the places they'd be based? Is the lease long term enough for that?

Aer Arann used ATR's on the route as well many years ago although the routing to LCY in those days didn't seem to involve flying halfway across the Channel before turning for London.
