According to various lists it was transferred to Loganair on 9th April. Planespotters.net has it's status as "stored". I don't know if they are needing another aircraft but GLA-SEN was cancelled this morning, there seems to be a lot of aircraft swaps going on.

It was in Alverca for maintainence when BM went bankrupt so I’d assume there has been the odd bit of issues getting it transferred. RJXB is still in Londonderry too however it has been looked after by the LM line engineers and been out for engine runs etc.

XB has left for NWI.

Loganair have applied to change the registration of G-RJXB according to G-INFO. I guess this means it will soon be returning to service with a G-SAJ? registration.

I've also noticed there is a Change of Ownership case open, probably (and hopefully) not been updated from when Loganair got it. At present from September 2019 all ERJs will be fully committed bar one, which from what I've heard will also be used somewhere. So all the current ones will be staying. The only question now is what happens to RJXI/XH. Both whitewashed by BMI, XH as recently as 2018 so I'm not 100% if these two can be painted fully. SAJG-JI can't be however that's not to say they won't get a Tartan sticker like the SB20s.

I am surprised that LM haven’t added more destinations from NCL operated by the 2nd ER3 being based there from September.

Update on ER4’s still operating with G-RJX- reg’s

Below is a update on the future of the ER4’s that are still operating under the same aircraft reg they had when operated by BM

G-RJXB - Was flown from LDY to NWI 4th June to be repainted and prepared for service. The aircraft is expected to be ready to enter service as G-SAJJ for LM in the next few days

G-RJXE - The only aircraft In service that is in BM blue with Loganair titles. It is planned to return to be sent to be repainted in Tartan livery shortly and will return to service re-registered G-SAJF in mid to late June

G-RJXG - Has been Alverca since 10th January and was undergoing maintainence when BM collapsed. This aircraft is expected to finally return to the UK this week. Unable to find any information on where it will be flown to, or whether it is be flown back to enter service for Loganair or just for further storage. Likely to be re-registered either G-SAJS when it eventually enters service

G-RJXH - Currently operates painted all white with Loganair titles. The aircraft is to be re-registered G-SAJE in the coming weeks. Can’t find any info at present on whether the aircraft is being repainted in LM livery prior to being re-registered.

G-RJXI - Currently operates painted all white with Loganair titles. The aircraft is to be re-registered G-SAJD in the coming weeks. Can’t find any info at present on whether the aircraft is being repainted in LM livery prior to being re-registered.

I would say more new routes are possibly about to be announced. Read a article a couple of weeks ago that LM are in talks with a number of airports regarding launching routes. I believe Loganair currently use 13 aircraft to operate there routes operated by jet aircraft:

Aberdeen - 1 x ER3 & 3 x ER4’s (1 aircraft used to op T3’s NWI service and another is a standby)
Derry - 1 x ER4
Glasgow - 2 x ER4
Inverness - 1 x ER4
Newcastle - 1 x ER3
Norwich - 2 x ER3
Airbus Shuttle Contract - 2 x ER4 used. I can’t remember if these flights are operated by 1 based at Bristol 1 based at Harwarden or if they are both are based at BRS and just night stop at Harwarden

The addition of the new base at EMA and the launch of new routes from NCL & NWI from 1st September will require 16 aircraft if Loganair decide to retain the ABZ standby aircraft. If they do t then that number will drop to 15.

I wonder if one of those new routes is Southend to Edinburgh as Loganair previously stated that was a route they wanted to serve.

Regarding Aberdeen, it looks like they have a lot of slack in availability since they dropped Oslo with one spare aircraft in the mornings and another spare all day. Of course, they are / were doing oilfield work to Kerry in conjunction with Bond and some other charters like the recent women's football team. The S20's become available in the evenings if there is sweeping up to do for any technical issues.
It will be interesting to see how it all works out.

From what I’ve heard and worked out from interviews I wouldn’t rule out one of the unlikely smaller bases getting an extra ER4 too.

TBH I think LM would be mad to even try to enter the EDI-LON market. There are already over 270 weekly departures from EDI-LON scheduled for this winter. There is so much capacity that even FR drop there STN flights for the winter.

If LM are really wanting to open another domestic route to SEN then I think there best bet would be NCL or possibly INV.

Anecdotally I’ve heard the SEN routes are doing OK loadwise. If GLA can attract some punters also up against fair competition I’m sure EDI would. NCL would be a non-starter but there is no INV service from either LCY or STN so could be a little gap in the market.

I think the return of BA to Inverness has changed things a lot, I never expected fares to be so robust or a night stopper to return, not sure there's much extra London traffic not captured by the majors already.

Just been hit by a timetable change LDY - GLA - seems they are now trying to use the one plane to do LDY-STN-LDY-MAN-LDY-GLA-LDY-STN-LDY If it works excellent utilisation - just hope they have a backup plan

What's yr basis for saying INV is a better bet than NCL - NCL has no LON service other than LHR, existing LM base?

I believe this aircraft is leased.

From my BM days, there was 1 x CEG based unit and at least 1 x BRS based unit. There was no TLS base and the crew night stoppped.
