Read the prospectus issued to support the rights issue first, then you can correct your post...

Page 14 of the rights issue prospectus:

If the Capital Raise does not successfully complete, the Directors expect that Administration (or equivalent local law procedures) of the Company and of certain key trading companies in the Group would be reasonably likely shortly thereafter, and Shareholders would likely lose all or a substantial part of their investment in the Company as a result.

Either way flybe or a new form of it is a hopeless endeavour. Everything is being sold off as quickly as possible and the dream of phoenix airways is nothing more than that. I cant remember who said previously about keeping on the DFO etc. The administrators need that to ferry aircraft around etc. Please dont think that there is daily meeting between ex flybe staff and EY on ceasing the selling of assets to create a new airline. alot of routes are being filled and Eatstern etc will fill more. only the strong will survive the next few years and flybe or any form of it does not even exist.

And here is the simon calder article. https://www.independent.co.uk/travel...-a9581661.html

The first BHX grounded aircraft left today in a generally ramping up of departures this week. A little bit of irony as easyjet started GLA-BHX today one of Flybe's ex high frequency routes.

DH8D's PL ex BHX, BB ex BHX, DP ex EXT, PA, ex EDI and OT ex MAN. all have moved or in the air,

Not going to be much left soon PH & OB showing as landed Saarbrucken in the last couple of days as well as PB

This leaves 4 x 175 and 4 x DH8D;s at BHX although OR was due to go today as well.

I am assuming these are the leased ones.

it would be interesting to know if the 20 owned ( but probably mortgaged to the hilt) are sold or still waiting a buyer.

Anyone have any knowledge on that.

Does anyone know where I can get historic flight registrations for Flybe flights? I had flights from Southampton to Palma in 2007 but can’t find any registration data.

No luck with that unfortunately. Thanks anyway though. I need the lhr-lgw equivalent for Southampton basically, but the chance of that is near zero

More Flybe routes filled.

https://www.businesstraveller.com/bu...st-city-route/

anyone still think a new start up will be able to compete against BACF, Eastern, Logan, easy, blue islands and any others picking up the good routes.

Ha. You are probably right. except a few on here think that flybe is still a going concern and this whole pesky administration thing is nothing more than temporary. many blame covid for its demise which is side splitting'ly laughable.

Please please lets stop this pointless discussion about exhumation of the corpse that was flybe. Those of you who wanted the airline to go under got your wish. END

Perhaps best to leave it open until the remaining aircraft and other assets are dispersed.

For a lot of us on this thread we are still mourning the loss of our jobs and lifestyle. We were on the inside of the company and could see some of the poor decisions first hand. What has happened has happened and nothing can change that now. However I would suggest that the so called humour towards flybes demise is a little insensitive towards the thousands of workers who put many years of effort to support Flybe . We feel like a family and have shown restraint towards the horrible things that have been said about Flybe. Could I suggest you set up a separate thread appropriately titled where you can voice all your negative observations of Flybe. Thank you and have a good day.

People hoping that they may possible get their jobs back some kind of laughing matter to you? A job they may have done for decades? A job/career that now appears will be gone for good? I don't care who you work for mate but I hope you've got deep pockets because no airline is immune from this mess that is happening and you are certainly not, so I suggest you wind in that long neck of yours before you find yourself down the job centre holding onto whatever you have...

Easy Jet2 Ryanair already been bailed out and saved by the taxpayers £££ its a small world pal....

175's

Not before reporting the sad and first departure of the 175 fleet since grounding.

JE left BHX this morning and is currently heading south of France. I have flown on several 175's and enjoyed every minute on a fine aircraft and I even received a short email lesson on the economics of the aircraft from PS back in 2014 after I was extolling its virtues but he was more keen on praising the Dash 8.

3 x 175 and 3 x DH8D's left at BHX now. The latter outside the STS Hangar.
