easyJet is working to help affected passengers by offering a dedicated rescue fee for customers up until the end of May. A fare of £65 (€72) including a 15kg hold bag will be available on presentation their original Flybe booking reference.
From Thursday 5th to Friday 6th March we will be offering free flights for Flybe staff to get them home.

What might happen to the PSO flights to/from Newquay to London. Do you think BA might take it on the Heathrow or maybe BA Cityflyer in to City airport? Am I right in thinking this was there only PSO contract that had

we have to remember that airports will be fighting for operators, particularly MAN as Flybe has a lot of connecting passengers onto other airlines from MAN

Aurigny and blue Islands could take up some SOU routes and offer Island connections to Paris etc

I wonder who the main creditors are.
What's the status of the Q400s? Owned? Financed? Leased? Are there pension liabilities?
It just seems criminal that there is the core of viable and sociality valuable airline sitting idle.
Maybe they'll let me buy it for a quid.

Eastern and Blue Islands still do not have a booking system set up. Just tried on Expedia too and "no flights" for the route I checked.
Skyscanner offering two stop flights. They need to fix this, fast. Also assume they will be low on this list of creditors for the monies they are owed from Flybe. Assuming Flybe didn't transfer booking monies immediately.

Blue Islands still do not have a booking system set up
In other developments, looks like Loganair are going to step in on SOU to EDI, GLA and NCL within a few weeks, and CWL to EDI also.
You would have to think that KLM will come back into the frame on SOU-AMS (it's been running at up to 5 daily recently) and perhaps EIR for SOU-DUB?

Senior managers at Southampton, Cardiff and Belfast have just been interviewed on Sky news.
The Belfast man said that they were in advanced discussions with other airlines about taking on the routes, and that announcements would be made shortly.
The Cardiff woman just waffled to the extent that I'm not sure what points she was trying to make.
The Southampton man seemed like a rabbit startled in a car's headlights although his business had most to lose. No indication was given of future announcements.
