Why change it when it`s not broke, do you know how much it costs to rebrand?

Quite a few actually, as otherwise people do think travel might be on Virgin Trains.

”Virgin Comnect” would be a good bet, BA Connect wasn’t around long enough to be much remembered in this market.
Or “slightly-bigger-red”?

Only my personal thought but I would expect if for at least another month of two, but that depends on how long a piece of string is.

Honestly they need to finish sorting this winter's schedules first and only then move onto the S20 programme.

I doubt the pure "Virgin" branding, since Virgin in the UK will be keen to identify itself as being different to Virgin Australia (despite different colour scheme). Virgin Group now own less than 10% of VA and 20% of VA, so they're "almost" unrelated.

There has been talk that in future connect airways might grow its network to feed not just VS services but also it’s partners DL, AF and KL. With this in mind maybe rebranding Flybe as just Connect could be a option

Or just Virgin with no other words. I'm sure there has been think tanks, customer feedback, forums, branding consultants etc etc all in the background on this one. I am sure the name has already been decided

Dont forget Focus Groups. I got involved in one of those a few years back to bounce around thoughts for new name for new (then) road vehicle.
What a Bun Fight!! Personally I lost the will to live once the SmartAs---es 'took over' and browbeat the rest of the group. The name put forward looked like the first few letters to fall out of a Scrabble box.
FWIW - the Company rejected it.

I suppose it has a lot to do with the future stratwgy. If mianly own-branded domestic and white label fyling und someone else's brand (like AF, KL) is on the cards, something with Virgin in it would make sense. If the business plan involves a significant amount of flights under the own brand to the continent or even on the continent, Virgin is not such a great idea as the brand is not that well known outside English-speaking countries.

I really don’t know why there is the negativeness against ‘Virgin Airlines’.

Every other brand in Virgin family does exactly what it says in the tin. Virgin Trains, Virgin Holidays, Virgin Money, Virgin Hotels, Virgin Voyages etc...

Mates Condoms. But I agree with you. Apart from the aforementioned.
