The inaugural non-faff run was today. And compared with the faff of airport travel, it's hardly surprising that the Amsterdam trains, which can carry several hundred passengers, have been even more popular than expected. Whether these are new pax or transferring from air, don't know.

Well, this is PPRuNe - Professional Pilots Rumour Network
If some third rate tabloid bases their opinions from what they read here, that's their prerogative.
I do however agree that downright lies and untruths with a malicious intent should be forbidden.
I harbour no ill will to Flybe itself and wish the best for the frontline staff; rather the idea of taxpayer funds being spaffed on a rich consortium grinds my gears big time and I find that particular possibility to be intolerable.

It’s hardly surprising that speculation is rife on this thread given that there are 10 times (at least) more questions than answers over Flybe / Virgin Connect right now.

I don't think anyone can dictate what is said or what isn't on here, if a mod wants it censored then they'll do so. Who is anyone to tell anyone what they can and can't post? Since when was this the Professional Pilots Fact Network?

For those who quote the 'Rumour' element of this place, you fail to quote the 'Professional Pilots' bit.
I know many people in the aviation finance, asset finance and aircraft leasing worlds, I think I know what's going on in the background at Flybe in terms of A/C discussion from these said sources.. but I'm sure not posting about it because it doesnt help or benefit anyone at this point.
Posting Rumour is one thing. But it's only worthy of rumour if you have the credibility to back it up.

You have no idea the harmful effect your rumours are having on staff. They are anxious enough at present.

I REALLY SHOULDN'T BE HERE

Having been on this PPruNe for about fifteen years or so I would say the noise to signal ratio on AAaR is 20:1
The informed are vastly outnumbered and outshouted by the uninformed. The loons on here will not change the course of history, leave them to their childish games.
I wish the staff in flybe all the best. The current state of the company’s finances is no reflection on the great work and professionalism which the cabin crew, pilots, engineers, ground staff and others show day in and day out.

It is encouraging to note afew posters rooting for the best outcome for FlyBe staff on here. But let's remember it goes so much further than that. Staff and suppliers at Southampton, Exeter, Belfast City, Cardiff and Newquay Airports must be worried sick too. And even at airports such as Birmingham, Manchester and Aberdeen where FlyBe are not the dominant carrier, still many affiliated staff rely on this operation for their livelihoods. The outcome of this crisis is critical for them all.

I read on the devonlive website that FlyBE has been fined €100,000 for a Health and Safety breach causing severe injury.
I hope the Employee has recovered in the intervening period as it took a number of years to reach Court.
"Flybe Ltd, of New Walker hangar medivac, Exeter Airport, pleaded guilty to breaching Section 2(1) of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. The company was sentenced at Exeter Magistrates Court where it was fined £100,000 and ordered to pay costs of £9,963.16."

It's just unnecessary and deeply disrespectful.

That is what you posted in 4th October. Yoi subsequently stated soon after that an announcement was imminent
You therefote have a track record of posting unsubstantiated rumours as if they were facts
I suggest that you disregard all of the false information that you are receiving

I think once the the loan is confirmed in the next couple of days then a replacement aircraft fleet will be in the news again Flybe’s long term plan is take the lo costs on head to head and the A220 will be perfect to do that , Once the 500 million is confirmed a lot of things will be coming into the public domain
