Firstly, my thoughts are with my TCX brothers and sisters tonight.
When Momarch when bust in 2017, we were told the reason they waited until 0402am was because the administrators could not take over an airline with planes in the air. I hope the LH craft get airborne so all the crew can get home, and if so I would expect a raft of cancellations in the morning followed by announcement shortly after the last craft lands. What another terrible night for our industry.......

There won't be a time all the aircraft are on the ground. Unless you mean the shorthaul fleet tonight?

Just to give you a heads-up, the last shorthaul flight to depart for the return to base is MT763 NBE-MAN with an ETD of 2310 UTC. So IF any announcements, I would expect them after that one got it's wheels in the air.
There is longhauls departing from NA every now and then through the night though.

Just got back home to MAN this evening from AYT - just a short delay due to earlier probs in MAN. I was very impressed by the professional way all the crew went about their duties - A smooth and safe flight with very good cabin service in the face of uncertainty.
Sending best wishes to all at Thomas Cook this evening..............

If it was game over then Cooks are obligated to let the CAA know and in return the CAA will insist that they stop taking any further bookings immediately. The website is still taking bookings at the moment. It ain't over till it's over...

A friend of a friend is cabin crew based at MAN - reportedly they've been told not to come in tomorrow. But I must stress, while I know the person concerned I obviously can't verify this.
As above, my thoughts and prayers with everyone concerned tonight.

As we know, Monarch increased all their prices by £100 on the Sunday, in an attempt to ‘discourage’ customers from booking flights. CAA/Directors all knew at that point the decision had been made to liquidate the company.
