Thanks for that. I'll check out the seat map. I'm curious to see what the layout is.

I see that Jet 2 have said that they have no interest in either the airline or the retail business of Thomas Cook.

That's a bit like Wayne Rooney saying he has no interest in the Large Hadron Collider.

1st flight is planned for tomorrow to MCO, followed by LAS and CUN. It has the same layout as TCXB & TCXC

They can't have the same layout as some of the ex Mytravel ones had the toilets below deck.

Thats incorrect. The first rev flight is on the 8th according to Ops’ aircraft programme.
MCO today is operated by OMYT and VKI.
It is also W49Y265

I see that Jet 2 have said that they have no interest in either the airline or the retail business of Thomas Cook.
And why should they? Jet2 are a 'new' agile company (16 years vs 150+ years) who have always preferred natural growth (same was said when Monarch went up for sale/ administration). They don't necessarily need anything that TC have, outside of certain hotels and airport slots, but even then, these would come with strings attached which would do more harm than good.

If Easy jet didn't revamp their Holidays offering, that would have been a much better pairing, as they already do a lot of business together; some Airbus commonality at similar airports and TC selling Easyjet seats for their packages.

Its operating LAS today so maybe it was due on MCO yesterday and then it got changed. Or its had to be used today on LAS as an a/c changed last minute by coincidence on LAS where the other poster said it was due to op today. It left an hour late so possibly a last minute a/c swap

No it wasn’t incorrect at all. It was planned to operate the MT2604 03.07.19 after arriving the previous day. Due to further work required before entering service, it was swapped and OMYT operated. It operated the MT2924 to LAS as planned today.

I hold my hands up, and admit I've made myself out to be a tw*t! I was looking at the A/C programme FROM the 8th to the 14th........

Is G-TCXD Tech already?

G-TCXD appears to still be in Las Vegas after it's very first flight for TCX.

Anyone have any info?

There was an brake issue out in LAS yes. It was back in the UK with an 8 hour delay and is now already on the way back to New York JFK. Unfortunately causing a heavy delay on that flight too. With the summer schedule in full swing and being a Saturday too, the capacity is fully needed on all flights so that was their only option to delay it. Once it gets back tomorrow dinnertime it should get the long-haul ops back on track.

Has this a/c gone tech? Today's Glasgow to Cancun has been delayed until tomorrow and will now operate on G-OMYT

Thomas Cook apologises for 'humilitating' treatment of disabled passenger

From The Independent via Yahoo news

Once again airlines have to learn about social media the hard way.
