They are one of the more likely airlines to partake in the repatriotation.

However chances are that both SmartLynx and Avion Express might have issues to staff the flights, because apparently both operated under a damp lease agreement where the ACMI carrier only provides cockpit crew, while cabin crew is coming from the lessee.

Maybe TC have already sent out the expected press release but embargoed it until a certain time. A commonly used tactic hence all news streams with the same large hint..... except the Independent who for whatever reason have maybe done something different..

2nd hand info, but a friend has been told not to report tomorrow - based at MAN. He's cabin crew.
No other info on that at the current time.

Independent have now changed the wording to fall into line. But it does look like that.

I'm really hoping that during the day at least parts of it were saved. It would be so much more messy than Monarch with there being so many staff abroad, many of whom will be low paid

For what it's worth, all flight only bookings on ThomasCookAirlines website are now showing as full with no availability. (At time of posting)

The last departure is at 2200L / 0300 UK from JFK to MAN landing at Manchester 0955.

Iím sure any announcement will be made after that departure.

If all is true then my best wishes go out to all the TCX / TC staff and wish you all the best for the future.

Omni operate charters for the US Military, and frequently use SNN as a fuel stop between Kuwait and the US.

I'm sorry, but if you're going to post something as sensationalist as that, at least have a link/source to back it up!
