Movements are very slowly rising again from the lows of 3 weeks ago where it was down to the 130s on a day or two. Quite a few days in the past 2 weeks have now topped 200 again with from memory I' m pretty sure it was 234 yesterday. Today was heading for 210-220ish when I looked earlier.

All still a long way off normality though.

don’t know if you meant only BA, but today the UA15 had 20 pax(plus 2 SBY upgraded pax) and UA928 had 16 + 2 SBY pax.

This is correct, the passenger flights appear on the flights departures/arrivals pages, the cargo flights, even the ones using passenger BAU flt nos, do not. United have just recently reintroduced ORD from a cargo only service alongside EWR which didn’t stop.

And lets just get real an airport the size and importance of Heathrow to the national economy 15,000 is an exceptionally small amount - To use metaphor it equates to somewhere like Liverpools typical traffic levels.

BA operated at least 5 US flights with passengers on today and have been doing daily. LAX BOS IAD ORD and JFK all the other US flights are freighters. NBO SIN PVG PEK TLV one of the HKGs all freighters. EZE ATQ and LOS positioned as repatriation flights.

Where do you get your info from? As far as I know all BA USA flights are cargo only. They retain their Pax flight numbers but the cabins are filled with cargo. Have you a source for the Pax numbers you refer to?

I was working on one of the flights today. Some flights to the US are carrying passengers US citizens or US residents only.

He is not one to lay it on thick, all UK airports, that are or were being served by the EK777 fleet, and the 777 is in more use at LHR.

BA are operating plenty of flights with pax onborad, not just EU, albeit the numbers are limited.
US carriers are also carrying fare paying pax, but of course only US Citizens or alien residents due current legislation.
All US carriers are currently selling seats for their UK flights, albeit limited and costly in some cases.

15K is a small amount but the 'public' seem to be under some misapprehension that flights have stopped altogether.

By comparison my local airport Edinburgh (nothing compared to Heathrow in size or capacity I admit) only saw 3 passenger flights ! during the same time period

They were:-
BA..... JFK x3, Washington, Nairobi, Chicago x3, Miami, Toronto, LAX, Atlanta, San Fransisco, Dallas, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Aberdeen
Aegean..... Athens
Aer Lingus.... Belfast, Dublin
Air Canada.... Toronto x2, Vancouver
Air China..... Shanghai
Air India.... Delhi
Air Malta.....Luqa
Alitalia.....Rome
American Airlines.....Dallas, Miami
Cathay Pacific.... Hong Kong
ELAL......Tel Aviv
Emirates..... Dubai
Etihad.....Abu Dhabi
Eurowings.... Dusseldorf
Finnair.... Helsinki
Gulf Air..... Bahrain
KLM..... Amsterdam
Lufthansa.....Frankfurt
Qatar..... Doha x3
Swiss... Zurich
THY....Istanbul
United..... JFK, Chicago x2
Virgin..... JFK x3
LHR in normal times serves just under 200 destinations/90 countries. Most of those are still seeing flights, but with a reduced frequency. Extra flights are also operating from additional places in the US/China for example.

What disadvantages would it have brought to airlines or anyone else if the LHR curfew were extended to 07:00 while the airport is so little used? Is it just they don't want residents of West London to get used to sleeping with the windows open?

It would risk the residents or other groups then trying to make 7am being the permanent curfew lifting time. "If you managed in April, then you can do it in October" etc...

The argument that's usually advanced by the airlines is that it would cause problems at the origins of the early-morning arrivals.

For example, the first arrivals this morning were from Hong Kong and Singapore. BA032 is due to depart HKG at 23:10 local time and arrive at LHR 04:50 (it landed just after 04:30).

Delaying the arrival of such flights at LHR by 1-2 hours would obviously necessitate delaying the departure from HKG/SIN/KUL/etc by a similar amount, which the airlines argue would be commercially unacceptable (and might also infringe night restrictions at some originating airports).

So that's why West London (and Windsor) residents continue to be woken from 04:30 onwards.

Except that flights from HKG & SIN also arrive around 18:00 in normal times, and with 0-2 flights per day, and (I guess) without passengers, it shouldn't matter if they choose those arrival times rather than the crack of dawn.

I'm struggling to remember when either BA or VS last had a schedule that involved pm arrivals from either HKG or SIN.

Looking at their timetables for this time last year:
VS207 HKG-LHR STA 04:30
BA032 HKG-LHR STA 04:50
BA016 SIN-LHR STA 05:05
BA028 HKG-LHR STA 05:30
BA012 SIN-LHR STA 05:50

Though VS does currently have an ad-hoc arrival from HKG at around 14:00 some days.
