I've noticed this as well.. Just checked their fares to AMS from STN from the 5th-12th November and its coming in at a whooping £600 return, excluding luggage. Also noticing that STN-AMS has now been reduced to Thursdays and Fridays (in the winter at least) with just two flights. Could all this be a sign that EZY are about to throw the towel in on this route?
I’m getting twice daily except Saturday (once daily) on the route. The prices are extortionate however.

Perhaps an error, but the system was definitely showing just two flights operating Thursdays and Fridays this winter when I last checked earlier this morning. Prices as you said are astronomical
The EZY website booking system is showing nce daily (x6) until 23 October then goes haywire with Thursday and Friday only at daft prices. Best left for it to settle down I think.

The two Turkish carriers are maintaining a pretty strong programme throughout the week.

EZY
With the closure of EZY's STN base, AMS becomes the airline's sole remaining international destination, so sad to see how much has changed from the GO base they inherited all those years ago I wonder if EZY would consider reinstating based operations once the airline sector begins to recover post the worst of the pandemic?

Problem is EZY would be unlikely to get back the morning first wave departure slots at any point in future they'd even consider re-opening a base. Not sure if that quite applies so much to SEN and NCL however.

If you were (for example) Jet2, would you want to start services at STN in 2021 using slots leased from Easyjet, knowing that in 2023 when demand for air travel resumes, Easyjet would then just take the slots back, and fly whichever route you had spent 2 years trying to develop while (likely) making a loss ? Alternatively, Jet2 could call Easyjet's bluff, and force Easyjet to use the slot, or let them just go back into the pool - at which point Jet2 then apply for the slots which they can then keep indefinitely

Given the huge cutbacks of EZY at STN to just 4 routes on non-based a/c, I wonder if these too will be dropped in the not too distant future. LS, now having comfortably taken over EZY as number 2 at STN could easily replace them on the remaining domestic routes if they so chose to, possibly even having a go at AMS, as they are no stranger there. FR also once had a sizeable domestic operation out of STN, so I wonder if they would be willing to re-enter. Alternatively, perhaps Logan air might consider taking over some of the Scottish routes?

Turkish, well Anadolujet, have increased SAW to 2x daily for winter season (was 5x a week)
Tui have removed Bourgas, Enfidha and Tenerife from sale in Summer 21 and have retimed Dalaman and Antalya to those respective times, putting everything on TOM metal. Still 2 gaps on a Thursday and Friday.
Jet2 have also retimed and cut some frequency for next summer. Looks the ALC and PMI seasonal bases won't happen next year as everything now looking like UK aircraft. Still a lot of loose ends but maybe 13 or 14 aircraft. Possibly all 738s too, suggesting no Titan leases.

Good news...All in all regarding the UK wide situation at the present time planning for a Jet2 base for STN of 13/14 frames for Summer 21 will be very welcome.
Anadolujet appear to be doing well at STN with up to 4 visits per day for Summer & an increase on SAW for Winter mentioned.
Tirana unfortunately pretty spasmodic & appears & disappears as a destination over the years.

I was surprised when TK announced they were flying to SAW and not IST especially since the demise of Atlas Global. I wonder what the likelihood is that they do launch a mainline service to IST.

For the record...
Recently published research & analysis of RYR`s figures reveals STN as its 6th most profitable base earning Euro 81.38m although generating the most pax.
With RYR`s Top10 airport performers system wide contributing the large proportion of the group profits MAN was the only other UK airport in the TOP10 at tenth.
Interestingly STN was top profit performer for RYR in 2018 revealing probably the EXS effect since.
COVID & easyjet withdrawal will obviously be major factors with the next published analysis.
