Rumours from EMA suggest that some cargo services st STN will suffer the same fate as Manchester with switch selling up to EMA.
UPS are likely to move their daily flights especially given the extra warehouse capacity which is due to open this month.
This wi Kso include the ASIANA flights which are in effect UPS.
Will be interesting to see if they can prise FED EX out ?

UPS has invested in a much larger facility at EMA, but so far the number of flights doesn't appear to have increased that much, so indeed, rather than any plan by MAG the move, if it takes place may be a commercial decision, however my gut feeling is that although some capacity may be moved north from Stansted there will still be a requirement for UPS to operate direct from the Southeast giving unreliability of the UK trunk road network. One all-lane closure of the M1 and express shipments coming out of London could all too easily miss their connections, and with the hightec sector concentrated in the southeast this could jeopardise business. And DHL maintain services from LHR despite the UK hub being in EMA.

Thanks for the MAG numbers 5DME any figures yet showing for BHX & LTN...although Luton Airport is saying it has the biggest bounce back of all airports but with no figures...
Not too much comment required on the STN pax figures perhaps but reflects RYR getting back into the sky in a robust way...
The cargo numbers increase is a bit of a surprise with the scheduled incumbents obviously increasing loads rather than many extra charters...

Luton Airport management stating July numbers down 74% but no further figures perhaps you have last years numbers & slide rule then for the actual thruput as they claim the biggest bounce back of all airports...Ta

That same APP is showing an Air India Dash 8 BHX - GLA tonight , remnants of the Flybe code-share so only 5 months out of date but still beaten by the BHX website which still shows a Jet Airways codeshare to Amsterdam on departures - only around 9 months out of date.

Intended perhaps as a snapshot/record as it transpired & was due & coming down the track later in the day Ryanair reducing network flying by 20% & closure of EZY base.
As I suggested we are all at peak airports it may appear for this year unfortunately.

Total movements for Stansted yesterday were 384, Luton 317, Gatwick 279 and Manchester 242. Heathrow was the busiest at 536. These are only movements that enter the NAS, not ones which are helicopters etc.
