The bucket and spade market is price sensitive. Not forgetting that some of these destinations now, Stansted is the only option in the south.

I’m surprised they don’t add Stockholm seeming as Ryanair only fly to NYO where the drive into Stockholm is well over an hour. It’s nice to see that full service can work from STN even if it is in competition with RYR. Hopefully OSL will be a success.
In other news Anadolu Jet has filed daily SAW-STN flights.

Possible progress for the planning application comes a step closer?

Have Albawings just made their route to Tirana seasonal instead of year round ? It looks like seat availability has been withdrawn for all dates in February and March, but seats remain on sale over the summer peak (by which time, Albawings presumably will have extra aircraft capacity)
I'm guessing that it would be more profitable to fly Tirana-Italy routes, following the likely demise of Ernest from the start of next week

AtlasGlobal
Things are not looking good for AtlasGlobal at the moment, with news sites now reporting the airline is suspending operations until 09/02: https://simpleflying.com/atlasglobal-suspension-again/
Given that this is the second time in 2 months that KK has had to suspend flights, I wonder what are the chances of TK taking over the STN-IST route if the airline fails?

Any body have any information about how emirates are doing now with two flights a day, will they go to three a day or even add the A380. Is it getting good load figures?
what about the Air India flights is that doing well and will that increase?

I heard a rumour from friends at Swissport Emirates want to add a Third and then a Fourth daily flight. They will also look to bring DNATA in at some stage to operate some of not all of the their flights.

On a similar note, is there any word/update of the supposed Emirates lounge going in satellite 1? I recall the airline/MAG proposing this a while back, but there's been no news/confirmation recently.
