Turkish Cargo have now replaced ETD Cargo on the produce run from NBO.

A330F in use today replacing the B77F used by ETD.

Turkish Cargo are working up a new fleet of B77F themselves so possible visitors on future flights.

MAG chose what transpired to be a fateful day on Monday 1.10 when STN announced the new aircraft stands had become operational.

The new Echo stand extension spans 40,000 square metres & completed during a seven month development.

The release also went on to state Phase Two of the Transformation Project is already under way which presumably references the new Arrivals Terminal for which permission has been given although the release only describes new taxiways, additional a/c holding areas & a further 20 ! stands....for which permission is/was awaited.

However...……..According to local protesters the permission for all the extra development for expanding to 43.5M pax was due indeed to be tentatively delivered by UDC this week!...until... until....it was stayed by Highways England for them to look at in more detail regarding their own responsibilities for the region.

Decision now November.

I wonder , if true, Could that result in a move to STN for Blue Air....
It pains me to say that if Air Moldova is a full fares airline Luton will have as much appeal with its passengers as a turd in a swimming pool. If they are a low cost airline it won’t be as much of an issue.

Stansted Airport College

The new Stansted Airport College has been donated a ‘Business Jet’ for use by the mechanic’s and engineer’s courses by Inflite.
Not sure what aircraft this is or where it’s stored by a huge boost for the college and the students being able to work on a real full size aircraft. I can imagine it would be CN-SHS a E190 Linage which has been stored at Stansted for a very long time.

What a result for the newly opened college/students & magnificent gesture from Inflite.

Would also be very interesting if the candidate is the 190ECJ as the airframe is only 7 years old tho as stated the a/c has been at Inflite for a fairly considerable period.

I had heard it had been seized at Stansted as the owner had been sent to prison. I don’t know how much truth is behind this though.

Good to see new jobs but I wonder how many of those 600 positions will be quality jobs with "proper" hours rather than zero hour contracts or contracts that are around 10 to 15 hours per week paying minimum pay?

Also how many of those positions are actually new jobs rather than vacancies created by the high churn rate.

Titan Airways
Ryanair
Jet2
Harrods Aviation
FedEx
Border Force
MAG
Stansted Airport College
Universal Aviation
Swissport
Hampton by Hilton
Novotel
Radisson Blu
Europcar.

I imagine the aircraft Inflite have donated is an old Challenger that had sitting in a hangar for quite some time.
It was never destined to fly again.

And good...

Aware of course who Stobart Aviation Services are & their enterprise at STN.

They just didn`t feature on the fairly extensive list I plagiarized but excellent, the more the merrier.

Guilty of attempting to answer two tongue in cheek posters together.

Regards.
