I would be very shocked if this is the final schedule from Jet2 for STN.I would expect STN to have a much bigger Jet2 presence than in 2019 given the bases are the same age and the LDN market is multitudes larger than the BHX market.
For comparison….
BHX Summer 2019 Jet2 Schedule

Just been looking at the schedule for August 2019. Looks like the 11 weekly flights to ALC arr being operated by a ALC based aircraft and it looks like a PMI based aicraft will operate up to 12 of the 14 weekly flights.

They are just as capable of a "lack of customer service, ignoring refunds, EU261 claims not acknowledged and left to their own devices when flights are cancelled" so equally deserve the attention of the CAA, which was the point I was making...

People in the SE are price lead with their annual holiday and if they can save a couple of hundred pounds I think you’ll find departure point isn’t necessarily an issue. What we are now seeing is a reverse of a few years ago where people from Stansted’s immediate catchment area were having to travel to Gatwick for their jollies, now we have those who travel from LGW and LTN’s catchment areas to Stansted to go on holiday. It’s clear Jet2 are going after market share.

As stated above to an extent so perhaps my own wording should have been better...EXS are market making STN....
Pleasing to see some reversal of the market flow that actually has endured for decades with LTN & LGW absorbing much of that traffic from the Sixties onwards...
The market share has been helped by the demise of MON & in LTN`s case has possibly left it "facing the wrong way" now...
LTN gained huge pax growth from the East in recent years & which may now be in some doubt & is losing some of the original Med market it was founded on back in the day...
Though the market is price sensitive do not under estimate the excellent public/customer perception of Jet2/Holidays & is further helped by their in house handling now...
Although many predicted the collapse of incumbent airlines traffic at STN,evidence is mainly proving otherwise...

In other news I’ve seen a lot of PR attention given to the launch of the Corsica fights.

One Echo...
Blimey & from a marketing guru too...
You require to think again about reputational value...it all goes into the mix certainly...
I think we also established that MON were taken apart by it`s very own top management not to mention asset stripper owners...

As I mentioned in a previous post, it was known that the National B757 was not very reliable to say the least and look what has happened over the last two weeks. I cannot believe they chartered this aircraft, surely the best thing to do was to put back that start date until the A321 was ready. They are now paying for their incompetence and unfortunately it is not looking good for Stansted as well. I am surprised that the CAA have not got involved, but maybe they have.
With 20 / 20 hindsight (a talent in abundance on these threads) they'd have hit the ground running from STN and BHX in June, but they didn't.

I get the feeling that Air Corsica's route to Figari is not selling particularly well. Special offers in May for flights to the beach in July should not be needed

And if they'd put back the start, what then? The same "social media warriors" whinging bitterly; frankly having made the decision to start when they did they were / are damned if they do, and damned if they don't.
