SEN Embraer operation
Stobart Air announced yesterday brand new routes to Europe from Southend.
Press coverage mentions the basing of 2x Embraer 195s, although the seat maps on the booking engines show 88Y so E175.
Any idea what's going on here? Are Flybe wet leasing aircraft to Stobart Air next summer??

Looks like NQY has been dropped as it currently stands which is very surprising

Yeap the way I see it is that there's still two gaps in the NQY schedule.
One from the new inbound MAN in the morning, prior to returning to MAN. This additional MAN flight seems to be on the E75, so E95 & E75 on MAN.
The other gap is between arrival and return of the BHX DH8

Airlineroute says 175's
Flybe Seat-map 88Y as mentioned above
Only three 175's scheduled in the morning and evening at BHX next summer instead of 5-6 (although 5 midday flights).
2+2 = 5 but you can't help coming to the conclusion that it is another cunning plan to utilize the jets with a lower risk to Flybe .
The flybe summer schedule is far complete, it has to be as it so many ridiculous timings - see MAN-NQY for a start and BHX -JER and MAN-MXP is not much better,
Big changes to come.

Unless iv totally lost the plot the 3307 CDG-LCY was heading for NQY after circling around over the south of England. It got past EXT and turned and now heading back towards SOU. Hope SOU stays open long enough to accept them !!!!

Just to add for the sake of Albert Hall the Exeter-London City this morning held over the English Channel/North Sea for quite a while before diverting to Birmingham! Nice one. Some are interested even if you are not.

Frustrating day with Flybe yesterday (BA codeshare) Was flying only to Newquay from LGW. Was tracking the inbound from NQY on Flight radar; could see it orbiting over hastings for a while and then it flew back to Exeter. It made no approach to land whilst others stacking made it in; did flybe have not enough fuel? Was its slot dispensed of mid-air?
The ground staff said it made 3 attempts to land lol

It looks like flybe are trying to cash in on positioning aircraft this summer by selling seats on them.
You can book to fly SOU to EXT & EMA on weekends this summer. It looks like these aircraft need to be in SOU to operate schedules out of there before returning.
I can't see that much of a demand for people to fly from SOU to EXT
