KLM were operating Fokker 50s to AMS after EIN was dropped, I flew on a couple back in 2009, after that Air France has the ATR72 on CDG over one winter.

I even remember Sheds at Heathrow! Air UK and Manx I think.
That was me! Normal Manx equipement was the Vickers Viscount but it went for a "head and neck massage" on Sundays so we operated in with the SD360.

Embarrasingly, if the loads were good northbound, I sometimes had to tech stop at Liverpool for fuel as we couldn't lift full tanks in warmer summer weather

Good results considering I think a Dash can make a profit from around 30pax
Plus you have to take into account extras such as baggage and sales on board, that can be a money spinner

See Mr Hammad is taking a battering on the Flybe share price chat page. Down to 52.75p today and quite a few investors wanting him to go. STN has not been a success, apparently LPL to BHD next for the chop from Jan and how long will DSA and CWL be sustained for. Yes he was ex EZY however he also was a part of McColls clearout.

Still cannot quite believe that Flybe haven't ended up doing more at Southend, bearing in mind some of their decisions over the past few years you would think that Southend would stand a better chance of success than some other route choices (London city-Dublin anyone? &#128563 if some of the new bases fail and they find themselves sitting on an abundance of aircraft perhaps we could still see a Southend base in the future.

Every time there's an announcement that there's going to be a big announcement, guess what? There's never a big announcement, so I'm going with option 3: yawn.

HERE IT IS, THE BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

Today, Flybe have announced that from now on they are going to try to operate most of their flights on time, and sell seats at affordable prices. End of 'BIG' announcement.

Can we not compile a list of airports that they will happily operate empty planes from provided the operator gives them a temporary subsidy? DSA, CWL, BOH, SEN, NWI already taken.

Not sure there is anywhere else that hasn't either been tried/failed or already running!
