Thoughts?
LOT to Warsaw has a great deal of competition from across the north of the UK as do many routes to Poland. The routes are basically sewn up by Ryanair and Wizz I believe.

Moscow requires a visa which is a big turn off for many in terms of cost and hassle which proved a problem for EZY. The route was basically a victim of the downturn in UK-Russia relations. I believe Ukraine allows visa free access for EU citizens which is good for UK citizens (for the moment anyway).

Not sure if it's a new route for Jet2 at Manchester but Verona seems to be on sale from 9th May 2018, twice weekly (Wednesday & Saturday).

Finnair will upgrade both the morning and evening flights to Airbus A319 aircraft from the 30th of October (W17/18). Weekends will remain on ERJ-190 aircraft whilst the A319 will operate MON-FRI. Also new flight numbers will be introduced: AY1361/1362 and AY1365/1366

Also to add, I don't think it has been noticed that Cobalt have increased Manchester -LCA from 2x to 5x weekly. Now operates on MON/WED/THU/SAT/SUN using a mix of A319/320 and 734.

It's always interesting to see, when new numbers are introduced, that gaps can appear for a an extra flight to be inserted into the timetable at some future date.

That was the late evening Turkish flight from Istanbul that was discontinued around 6 months ago.

Yes, you're right LAX. Currently only bookable on MON/WED/SAT. Saw other flight numbers though (CO654/655 for the THU/SUN). It's probably me just getting confused as they have changed days of operation.

I don't think so - certainly not materially. Norwegian and SQ are after different markets - not least geographically given MAN's northern location in England, and LGW's location South of London.

I suspect there is an element of LGW and Norwegian trying to prove a point to the UK government and airport commission.
