BA has changed the flight numbers on all the MAN Cityflyer routes so that they fit into the BA7*** range. For example, MAN-JMK is now BA7319/7320.

MAN-BAH on QR?

Surely a filing error - I can see no schedules loaded - but the GDS is showing a flight to Bahrain operated by Qatar.

Anyone know anything?

It's a 5 hour road trip from DOH to BAH - maybe QR could be thinking of doing a Ryanair and marketing BAH as Doha North

Seriously though my bet is it's a filing error. BAH is Gulf Air territory and QR don't serve it yet from anywhere except DOH

As it happens, when the QR22 initially pinged on the ground at MAN yesterday morning on FR24, it also showed its route as MAN-BAH, but then changed back to MAN-DOH on takeoff.

Norwegian to TFS doesn't operate in the Summer months, so total flights are 17. Unless you know any different.

A number of QR operated into BAH last week, due to excessive holding at DOH caused by storms. One of the Manchester services ended up there for a splash & dash.
Temporary weather related issues.

BA 105 from LHR to DXB did a splash and dash yesterday into DOH for similar reasons, excessive holding due to waiting on weather at DXB, it's an issue this time of year, either due to fog or thunder storms.

The Norwegian to TFS was showing in GDS earlier and was announced as a year round route, LPA was just winter only. GDS was where I got all the flights from.

Vueling online booking engine still offers Manchester- Tenerife Sur Reina Sofia non-stop on Monday and Thursday in July and August with other days from Los Rodoes via Barcelona.

Sorry BHX-TFS is still bookable in S17 with NAX it is MAN only that has been axed

MAN-TFS was showing on GDS this morning for Norwegian, on a Tue/Sat. It keeps being added and removed, so something is going on. It was announced as a year round route and on enquiring, NAX had said 'the summer schedules for Manchester were not completed' and have since added a 3rd ALC. TFS was announced as a year round route while LPA was announced as winter only, and on further enquiry there was no confirmation from NAX that MAN-TFS was axed, just a 'keep an eye on newsletters' etc.

So, while there is a chance MAN-TFS has gone for the summer, it's not over until the fat lady sings.

And the fact the route 'ends' next month means nothing either, as BCN-MAN was only announced with a 2 week lead in time.

Doesn't look like it anymore, was published with a D89*** number originally which suggested it was being chartered by someone, obviously didn't need it after all.
