Thomas Cook Summer 2016 changed again. MAN now used for the W pattern LTN flights. Plus a lot of reductions short haul than was originally planned. Plus Holguin/Cayo Coco both gone for Summer 2016
Follow on from this, Thomas Cook have tweeted to say that this flight will be running next summer, and will get a frequency increase to include a new Saturday flight. Should be bookable soon.

It would be a shame for reductions on Cuba flights. Cuba is well worth a visit.

There hasn't been a reduction on Cuba flights. Holguin and Cayo Coco will operate in S17.

Thanks for the update LAX_LHR regarding TCX Cuba.

Just thought it was odd why they pulled the flights off sale to then be putting them back. Although think as you mentioned previously they have something else planned?

My attention was drawn to this from last Monday's daily Mail letters page:

PressReader.com - Connecting People Through News

Go towards the bottom of the first column and the top of the second (letter sent by Philip Lewis of Bognor Regis Sussex.

Deliberate error?

Easyjet to increase from 11 to 12 based aircraft next summer. New routes to follow, I have seen Zagreb mentioned but for the life of me cannot find the link again now.

What is the parking stand capacity expected in 2017, versus 2016?

We have had a real mix since the clocks change with A320/A319/EMB-195/RJ so I believe
Swiss will substitute when or if needs be.

We've known this for the last 6 months. Think the flight numbers have also been posted.

That suggests it may be one of the specific press releases that LAX LHR refers to, as the initial press release in May this year mentioned a start of 1 April.

Various blogs reporting SQ's IAH going A350 in the new year.

Trying to find F redemption or revenue tickets on the route seems to confirm this as F is zeroed out; although SQ web still shows the type as B77W for now, but they have no 77Ws without F.

SQ

Nice if it went A350 and daily in both directions, too. Probably won't happen right away as that would commit at least two frames to the route.

I see today's CX357/8 is not operating, also a few cutbacks on other routes like LHR, DUS, CDG, ZRH for the next few weeks. Are they still short of planes and pilots...or both ??

No shortage of HKG passengers with CAA load factor for September at 87%

Anyway a bit more digging reveals a new ATC system has recently been installed at HKG airport and 25 airlines have been directed to cull approx 90 flights a day for the month of November while the new system is bedded in.
I guess on that basis MAN-HKG route has escaped quite lightly with only one CX357/8 affected.
