FDH ticket sales

According to a German regional newspaper, Friedrichshafen flight bookings reached 1750 in the first week, mainly to Berlin & Hamburg. Dusseldorf not doing so well

I think 1.750 sold tickets within 4-5 days is not bad (3.200 seats available per week).

Their site is a bit of a mess. Those new destinations from ANR/RTM are actually one-off charter flights to trade fairs. Hannover for instance is a day trip to the CeBIT fair on March 15th, bookable via a Belgian site.

I guess they might be planning to sell individual tickets on those flights, but I couldn't for instance find any available seats for ANR-HAJ-ANR on March 15th. In the meantime, all those destinations are right there on the booking site without any explanation at all. Mighty confusing.

Appreciate its Jan but that seems quite a low LF for the time of year.

What about LTN?

CAA says 545 passengers between WAT and BHX in January. WAT to LTN: 1651 passengers, but hard to tell now which flights actually ran and how many in total since I understand there have been at least a few cancellations. Must start writing these things down off FR24 from time to time

A third full - even for January that seems pretty low doesn't it?

I hope the route picks up in 2016. It used to do so well, warranting up to 3 daily flights at times in the past. Of course times change but hopefully more can be done to make WAT an attractive operation both to LTN & BHX

LTN was 15 or 16 per full week and I think BHX went 3 weekly at some stage.

BHX 30-40 and LTN around 50.

Did LTN go back to one return flight per day on most days in January? Because that's the only way you'd end up with 16 flights per full week. I was looking at the March schedule which is showing two return flights Mon-Fri and one each Sat and Sun, thus 12 return flights/24 flights per week. But I guess they did cut back quite a bit during January then.

LF's are higher due to several cancellations.

Yeah after the new year and most of Feb had it at 8 weekly, likely started to increase in the next few weeks again.

VLM to IoM

Apparently they are doing some of the MAN - IOM flights.
So there will be Dash 8, ATR and the F50 all on this route for a short while.
Stobart apparently running everything May onwards.

LF of the first two weeks in FDH:
HAM apprx. 51%
TXL apprx. 54%
DUS appx. 51%

Weekend-Flight FDH-ANR apprx. 57%

Considering the fact that you can book since 7 weeks and the routes are operated since two weeks the load factors aren't that bad.

BTW the Sukhoi deal was scrapped.

Numerous new route combinations have popped up on the VLM site, no flight times yet visible

ANR-BLQ
ANR-HAJ
ANR-MXP
ANR-MUC
ANR-NUE

RTM-BLQ
RTM-HAJ
RTM-NUE
RTM-SVG

Could be trade fair flights rather than regular scheduled ones.
