EZY seem to have changed their schedules for May 2015 compared to the last time I checked:
The timings for some services have definitely changed and possibly some of the days of operation of a few routes, but am not sure on the frequencies. For the last week of May 2015, SEN has:
ALC - 7x weekly (daily)
AMS - 16x weekly (3x Mon and Fri; 2x every other day)
BCN - 4x weekly (1x Mon, Thu, Fri and Sun)
SXF - 4x weekly (1x Mon, Wed, Fri and Sun)
FAO - 10x weekly (2x Tue, Thu and Sat; 1x every other day)
IBZ - 3x weekly (1x Tue, Wed and Sat)
JER - 3x weekly (1x Tue, Thu and Sat)
PMI - 5x weekly (1x Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat and Sun)
AGP - 7x weekly (daily)
VCE - 4x weekly (Mon, Wed, Fri and Sun)
= 63 departures per week
How does this compare to the same period this year?

Now this is interesting...
It's early days, but now EZY's Summer 2015 schedule is here, it appears that both STN and SEN will indeed lose an aircraft next summer. That's now just 10 aircraft across both airports, compared to 12 this year, and compared to 13 at STN in 2011.
LTN on the other hand is seeing some nice increases compared to Summer 2014 and as for LGW... well that's just LGW.
Yet another example of EZY growing at one airport at the expense of another (or two in this case)??

I made it 93 weekly departures in July 2014. July 2015 looks like being 61 weekly departures according to the timetable published yesterday.
Of course EDI, GVA, KRK and NQY are not operating in Summer 2015 with no new routes having taken their place.

Looking at the current schedule for S15 it's pretty distinctly 3 aircraft with very few gaps. Still plenty of time for change though. If it does end up being 3 aircraft and 60ish flights a week then I think SEN will struggle to make 1 million in 2015 to be honest, not sure about this year though?

SEN Pax
If the current dreadful service being offered on the Sen/Dub route is anything to go by Sen wii be struggling to convince any customers to fly from there.
A family member has just had her flight cancelled twice in three days. She had onward connections via Dub to Chicago and is now having to travel to LGW at some unearthly hour to make her Aer Lingus flight.
Makes me wonder how committed Stobart are to Sen, after all they own about 50% of Aer Arann/ Aer Lingus Regional.

Running total for September 2013 - August 2014 was 1,102,847 passengers.
SEN will certainly struggle to achieve over one million next year, unless some other LCC moves in. EZY may well continue at this lower level of operations from SEN for years to come. Or not.
Stobart must be worried though. Perhaps they can pull a rabbit out of their hat. Or not.

I believe expressflight is referring to the dropped EasyJet routes over recent months which included NQY. The Flybe operation may return next year - we'll have to wait for their summer 2015 timetable to be released.

Just to clarify my earlier post, NQY was included in the easyJet S2014 timetable when it was announced in autumn 2013. I was comparing S2015 as first announced (this week) with that originally announced for S2014.
NQY was dropped from the S14 timetable by easyJet early in 2014 and Flybe immediately took it up in their place.

Jota Aviation Bae 146
Jota have just announced that the 146 G-SMLA has today been added to their AOC and a Type A operating licence issued. The aircraft is now available for charter and I wish them every success in its operation.

Isn't LGW-NQY still operational?
