dear all, i read these replies with great interest. i was searching some info regarding route licenses on www.caa.co.uk and found some interesting information. it seems that BMI have applied to operate services from LHR to Pakistan (presumably A330).

Ooooh, now that will be fun! Especially as the FCO has advised all British nationals to leave the country! I'm sure the cabin crew will be thrilled to crew that one, and totally gutted when a mysterious bug causes them to all call in sick the day before. Still its a lovely time to be there, with hurricane force winds and temperatures reaching 4000c under the big mushroom cloud!

PAKISTAN , that would be a nightmare. You can just see it. Interesting that you have actually found some factual information to support this as all other posts have only really been rumours. Why Pakistan? Seems a big close to all the trouble thats going on.

Do you know when this request was entered?
