New routes from STN for BEE are IOM, NCL and NQY.

IOM and NCL start mid-late March and NQY mid-May.

Looks like the NQY route has now also been increased to daily until end of Sept.

Nice news for NQY

Flybe really increasing its presence at NQY nicely this summer.

7 weekly STN instead of 4 weekly SEN
10 weekly MAN up from 8 last year
BHX also runs 7 weekly all season instead of being wound down towards the end of the run.

Yes Flocks, it is 5 195s this Summer.

See extract from recent FlyBe trading statement:

"A commercial decision has been made to utilise five E195s on selected routes during the Summer 2015 season. Our Route Assessment Model indicates that these are attractive routes for this aircraft type during this season. Utilisation of these five aircraft will not delay our efforts to deliver a permanent solution for these aircraft.

While it is expected that these Summer routes will make a small positive contribution to overall Group revenues and profitability in 2015, we believe it is prudent to maintain guidance at £26m per annum until a permanent solution is found and Flybe can provide further clarity. Finding a permanent solution for all nine aircraft is a continuing priority for the executive team."

The reference to £26m is the provision for the cost of holding the 195s until they can be disposed of.

As a BHX user FlyBE referring to its "Route Assessment Model" does not necessarily instill me with lots of confidence

ok. Thank for the info.

I'll be one of the new contractor flying emb 195 from SOU.
I know, other bases are MAN and BHX.

I'll be happy to meet all of you, and maybe share a drink one day ;-).

Im sure there is a E195 at MAN too given that there were a lot of increases to several destinations, to which flybe said 'using our E195 aircraft'

These chaps

avation PLC: Company Announcements

That's Avation, not Aviation as the trade press seems to think.

The four new ATR72-600 aircraft will be progressively delivered new to Flybe during the
course of 2015 and early 2016. The lease rate revenues are consistent with operating leases
of this type and term. The initial duration of the leases is six years with the client having
further optional six year extension provisions.
