ILS damaged at Stansted
I only caught the end of the report on BBC local news but it looks like the ILS at Stansted Airport has been damaged by a landing aircraft causing delays. Has anyone got any further information?

Will tomorrow mornings inbound flights be diverted again?
Ut Sementem Feeceris
Presumably it was the 22 LOC Antenna that was damaged? i.e. At the 04 t/hold?
If, I stress IF, it was the gear that hit it (what else would it be) they have been SO LUCKY! (and SO LOW ) Does anyone have any facts as to what was hit and when? It was very foggy at STN this morning (met vis 50m on the ATIS).

Tranceaddict.
Wow thats fast took BHX 3 weeks to rebuild up to Cat 111 after its mast was damaged in a fatal plane crash in recent years.
Must have been a lot of circuits today by the calibration plane to get it back up to certification ?

If it hit either the localiser or the glidepath I'd be amazed if they could get it back in service in the same week let alone the same day. My money would be on one or more of the monitor aerials.
