Not sure how helpful this is for EDIs scenario but any international Chinese expansion would be welcomed

For something so important why not just fly from an airport that has a flight and airline on sale, such as Jet2 or something?

Failing that, why not just do Turkish via Istanbul?

If, as you say, you risk loosing a wedding date and money, forget trying your best to stick to an EDI flight, just do what you can to get you to Bodrum!

Why not assume it's the same as this year, and if it's different, say Easyjet changed the flight times? I take no responsibility for that suggestion.

Thats great news, as IAD is great to visit. Wonder if United would consider a lounge facility? (although overall J class pax per day on 757 will be quite small), maybe a shared Star Lounge. Though we probably dont want more maze building works or prefab add-ons!

So essentially rearranging the deckchairs. Something had to give in the NYC market and UA have acted quickly. 8 hours on a 757 is a fair old trek.

Makes sense. Maybe they will move to a larger a/c in the peak. Slightly disappointed that having dropped GLA for the winter that they didn't reinstate the Wednesday flight that is dropped after the New Year.

EasyJet connections at Gatwick

I wonder if this will delay or put back Norwegian deploying long haul 787 ops from Edi if ever now....

Or perhaps using the aircraft from the cancelled Newark- Birmingham route. Second Edi flight still available to book.....for now at least.
