Jet2 have increased the number of weekly flights it will operate to IBZ from 3 to 4 x weekly and PMI will operate 7 x weekly for the peak months of the S16 season. LS now plan to operate 2 flights on a Saturday and Sunday PMI and 2 flights on a Sunday to IBZ.

LS have also dropped CMF from all airports for W17. EDI-TRN will operate weekly from December 2016 to April 2017

Also does anyone know what is going on with the EGPH forum site?

It has been rumoured that LS will shortly announce GNB as a replacement for CMF

Arrived at EDI today from LGW. Stand 6. Why is the air bridge not in use? Down the stairs, across the ramp, up the stairs, walk entire length of departure lounge, down the stairs. I do wish the owners would spend more on airport development rather than route development.

It was unserviceable last Sep when I flew up with VS. Don't tell me it's been broken all that time!

Perhaps the airlines prefer the use of steps?

If it was FR I might agree but not EZY. Am at EDI waiting for slightly delayed EZY to LGW. Will report further.

Security still has the strange "stand on a spot" system but there were no queues. I may have to admit to being wrong re airbridges. Flight left from gate 11 (stand 10) and again did not use airbridge which meant EZY could use front and rear doors

Some great February results for EDI (notwithstanding the extra day in the month) total growth was 17.2% with international growth at a staggering 30.4% over 2015 results.

Reading that EDI's March 2016 passenger stats are very impressive again:

927,200 pax in total during the month which represents a growth of 17.1%.

International passengers grew by a whopping 37.6% to 493,122.

Domestic passengers were fairly static with a growth of 0.2% to 434,078.

Thats still quite impressive considering the withdrawal of Little Red. Where has the growth come from to counter this?

Ryanair did it for two summers, so I imagine the first round couldn't have been awful for them. Despite Nordica's brave attempts to market Edinurgh to Estonians it is probably mainly a route for UK->EE holiday traffic though.

Ryanair are probably more likely to be able to attract that type of customer than an Eesto-Slovenian airline called Nordica that nobody has heard of, and that is quickly getting an awful reputation among people that have heard of it.

(I've never actually managed to fly with them yet, so I can't comment. So far I've booked flights via CPH, via AMS in the evening, and to or via EDI. All of them have been cancelled...)

Interesting DOH still just 67% loads, thought it might have significantly improved. Wonder if its high yielding Avios'ers supporting or cargo. Is it daily summer and back to 5 times week Winter this year? Great prices with both QR and EY ex EDI.
