If I remember correctly the three TCX* series frames at TCX were ex Avianca, so maybe it was bought with the intention of being a summer lease frame for TCX in the future

Aircraft is only 5 years old and will be available from April 2020, will be interesting to see who snaps this up - EXS/TUI to name just two!

I assume this addition will have been planned well before the sad demise of TCX, meaning maybe more A330s might follow sooner rather than later!
Any link to the source of the info on the A330?

Just been looking into Titan’s fleet past and present and noticed that one of their previous A320’s G-POWI was scrapped May 2018 at just 12 years old, that seems remarkably young, does anyone know why?

Titan confirmation, The A330 will arrive first quarter 2020 and begin revenue flights in April 2020.
The arrival of the A330 will coincide with the disposal of the B767 from Titans fleet.

More info has been released about this subject over the last week. Jet2 now plan to add 7 A321’s to there fleet from S20. Aircraft to operated by Jet2 and not Titan and will be based at BHX and MAN.

Maybe the Titan expansion at STN is in addition to that at MAN and BHX though?

This is in addition to the 7 A321's being acquired by Jet2, and particularly for STN expansion.

Are these aircraft crewed by Titan or Jet2 in the cabin?

Are a lot of crew at Titan on Seasonal or “Zero-Hours” contracts? Given the nature of the business there is a lot of “stand-by” and seasonal work?

The 321’s subbed to Jet2 in the summer are ZT flight deck and LS cabin crew as far as I’m aware.

Titan A318 arrived at Tortola, British Virgin Islands (EIS) yesterday on a charter flight from UK via Halifax. Largest aircraft to have landed at our airport.

Very nice photo - I did have a sneaky feeling that Air2000 for a short while flew the 767-300 into Tortola on Sunsail Yacht holiday charter flights.
The main flying program operated from LGW to St Thomas, on to ANU then back to LGW but I had a feeling they flew into Tortola for a bit?

Can you help?

No, was only ever to St Thomas and then a chartered ferry for the passengers to Tortola. Debate still continues about extending our runway to allow more direct flights.

That one was used to a shortish runway in it's previous life, or course. A bit souped-up for the purpose, I understood?
