Returned to the leasing companies.
Likely they will then be leased out to African/South American operators - at a guess.

Well, thats almost the end. Just G-OGBD left on the ramp now and even they are ready to push to go to Lasham. The end of a decade of BMIBaby at EMA.

And that, folks, is it...
All BMIBaby airframes are now on the deck at either Norwich or Lasham. The IATA operator identifier WW is no more.
I have footage of the take off into the circuit from stand 21 and footage of the flypast ("low approach and go around") from Runway holding point S1 which I am in the process of uploading to youtube (complete with ATC transmissions)

Unfortunately as my phone films in 1080p the files are too big to upload from my phone on a 3g connection so it'll have to wait until I get home to my high speed broadband connection.

I am not an aviation professional so I hope it is OK to post here. I would also like to add my best wishes to the staff of bmibaby to all those that worked hard to try to make it a success. The airline industry is so tough.
I make lots of aviation videos and I made my own tribute to BMI baby, including the final flight out of Stansted. I hope that if nothing else, it will help, along with all of the other tributes and comments, to preserve the bmibaby brand and bring a smile to the faces of those that have lost their jobs and are facing uncertain times to at least know that there was a lot of admiration and support of their hard work, we can't change the outcome but we can be thankful of what they did over 10 years.

First up. The take off into the circuit. Unfortunately there was a Jet2 taxying in making lots of noise and getting in the way.
I'll add the go around when it finishes upload as its much longer showing everything from long finals to handoff to London control

Good luck to all the staff and let's not forget those people who will lose their jobs outside of the bmi group (suppliers etc), hopefully you have all found or will all find alternative employment soon. Terrible shame how the group was destroyed by management, there's no doubt they had one of the best workforce's in the airline industry and its a terrible shame its all over now. Bye, Bye Baby!

Was at Ema yesterday morning (div'd in tech !) and witnessed the Baby exodus as it happened . Very , very sad and something i won't forget in a hurry , must have been simply awful for the crews.
Best of luck to all at WW in finding something else soon - and i think thats what we said on 121.9 too.
