Good luck and thanks to everyone who made WW what it was. I probably only flew a dozen sectors with you over the few years, but it was all good.
A few weeks ago I made a bad choice ........ there was a WW flight and a Monarch on the date and route I needed to fly. I (reluctantly) chose Monarch because the earlier timings made better use of my day. It was delayed nearly three hours and the WW went out just ahead of ours.

All the best to the employees after today. Sad day for the UK airline industry....
Flew on WWs first flight after Cardiff after the naming of one of their aircraft ''Dragonfly Baby'' and have flown with them 12+ times.
Bye bye baby....

Good luck today on the last flight EMA-AGP-EMA to Cabin Supervisor Barbara B, one of the BMI groups longest serving Cabin Crew Viscount, DC9, 707, SD330 / SD360, F.27, FK00, B737 with Baby, probably missed a couple of aircraft off DC4 even.
Lots of luck from surrogate family

News from the ramp. G-OBMP to operate this afternoons Malaga sectors scheduled to depart EMA at 16:05, returning 22:45. This will be operated with the WW chief pilot at the stick and is reported to be the same flight deck crew that operated the first EMA sector for BMIBaby, to Malaga

The Malaga flight is about to depart. All flights from EMA are about to go now too.
The last flight into Birmingham by the way is WW1082 from Prague if any of you are interested.

BHX-PRG
The last commercial departure from the UK was airborne 17.29 (per SBS feed) from BHX to Prague on flight WW1081, aircraft G-TOYH.
BHX's first one back has already arrived from Barcelona WW1882.
Very sad for all concerned but all the best for future to the Baby staff.

G OBMP
What a fitting end that MP and the same flight deck should be tasked with the honour of operating the last ever Baby flight, what a very sad day.
My wife and I were on a hangar visit at East Midlands on the day that MP was delivered new and were given the opportunity by John Hall to have a look over the newly delivered aircraft before she entered service.
That twenty odd years ago never thought that this aircraft would out last the airline.
Good luck to all, East Midlands will not be the same without you.

The Malaga flight left at 9.01pm (local time) and the Palma flight left at 9.07pm (local time) which by my reckoning means the Malaga flight will be the last one back.
All the best to those at WW. Flew with them a few times between EDI and CWL, always on time and friendly staff.

Good Luck to all employees and hope everything goes well in their future lives. Also good luck to those joining Monarch.
All flights on the way back now.

Palma has an ATC estimate of 2230
Malaga showing as an ATC estimate of 2250 so Malaga will still be last
And incase anybody isnt aware the Aeropark with its viewing mound is staying open late until sometime after the last WW arrival with £1 entry.
