I was getting excited for a moment!!!!!!
As usual disappointing, £75 for a single trip to London Oxford, £150 return and stop in IOM on route. As with their Gloucester route they will be lucky to make double figures

Have to agree......£150 to larnaca is a good price
Checked the manx2 website and it takes four hours for the flight back from Oxford to BHD..........easier to fly to LHR or Bristol with EZY....and cheaper

Just a thought, if EIR come to BHD to join EI there must be quite a lot of routes they can launch and not be in competition with BE
My thoughts where
Shannon
Cork
Bristol
Luton
Southend
Stansted
London City
Bournemouth
A lot of there routes, although thin could be good for the atr42

Would be good to see EIR at BHD. Flights to Cork could resume after Manx2 pulled the route. It's a he'll of a drive to cork from Belfast and no alternative.
Think EIR would be able to compete against BE on the BHD to GLA & EDI routes which give more operational flexibility as they already use their ATR's there.

How big is the market from Belfast/NI to the central belt of Scotland?
Does it justify four carriers?
Who would fail first? ........place your bets

EDI will be the next route, can't tell when as it was supposed to be announced at the time of the move but there was concern over the possible Flybe reaction and the airport applied pressure to delay, but only delay, the start. GLA MAN and BHX be announced shortly for starting next summer and this is directly from senior commercial people in AL.

Just what we need, more duplicate routes. Can't see Regional lasting long on BHX and MAN especially with Easy and flybe's all jet operation.
EDI with a jet and MAN BHX and GLA with Aer Lingus Regional

I think deep down EI and EIR want to push flybe out/ up the road to aldergrove, to have themselves an Aer lingus airport right in the city then when the airbus a320 neos come in to have a BHD-JFK route
