That was my thought. If AGP is DUB based the 319 at BHD is going to be elsewhere. In fairness a weekly AGP is useless because people want to take short break etc. Surprised ALC hasn't appeared yet, normally a good year rounder.

If EI start a weekly Geneva flight on a Saturday I can see EZY doing a double
flight on the same day. Last year WW had a Saturday and Sunday flight so EZY
doubled theirs!

Belfast City Airport (BHD)
Bit of a nightmare for passengers on BE974 tonight. Had to sit abeam stand 10 for 40 minutes after landing as their gate was occupied by company Embraer bound for BHX which was over 60mins late departing. And the City is not even operating at full capacity ATM.

Random question, was in Belfast this morning, saw what seemed to be an airbus 319 on 2 occassions taking off, wasnt close enough but quite sure it was airbus, though none were due out at that time between 0810 and 0830....
Certainly wasn't embraer... any visitors this morning not as per schedule?

Just waiting for the comments of "If they had stayed at Aldergrove the loads would have been 90% with higher yield".
I would say Aer Lingus are pleased with results to date, wonder how they are doing on the domestic front?

CAA May stats
BFS-AGP lost 5204 pax while BHD-AGP carried 7650 with a LF of 84.5% for EI. Taking Bmibaby capacity last year into account it means that EI have increased their traffic and LF since moving to BHD.
BFS-PMI lost 2191 pax while BHD-PMI carried 2051 with a LF of 80% for EI. Overall PMI market has dropped but BHD increased their pax while BFS dropped.
BFS-FAO lost 6101 pax while BHD carried 8514 with a LF of 79% or EI. Over all FAO market is the same when bmibaby share from BHD is included.
All in all is that EI are carrying more passnegers at BHD than BFS while BFS is seeing a decline on key routes as a result and its not the big failure that most of the BFS heads were saying it would be.
Overall traffic at BHD up 8.7% while BFS lost 7.4%

has anyone heard anything about winter Europe routes with aer lingus?! I did hear a whisper off the 3rd aircraft staying to do European city routes. That was a while back though and can't see it happening now as they would surely want a fairly long lead in time to promote etc? even with the two based aircraft there are gaps which I would be surprised If it wasn't filled. Though thinking it'll be the usual geneva and maybe a two weekly Malaga.
See next years flights are on sale also. Nothing new as off yet the 3rd aircraft going to fao and agp daily. Anyone reckon they could have a night departure at say 2125 to the likes off Palma and or Ibiza in the high summer to increase utilisition. Would just mean maybe a three hour turn around at the other side and then land for 0630 to be turned around for the heathrow service at 0730! Just a though though.

Those were the good 'ol days when EI used to operate like that years back, I remember particularly as a youngster being on EI889 from Malaga to Cork we left Malaga at 4:40AM! and were scheduled to arrive in Cork for 6:30AM. I remember we were early because of a strong tailwind and we had to hold over Kinsale for the airport to open! Can't see those days returning though, the Malaga flight used to be off to Heathrow then at 7:30AM, the outbound flight to Malaga used to leave at 11:55PM arriving at 3:40AM after doing a days flights to/from Heathrow. Aer Lingus certainly did work those 737's.
