The Blackpool incident appears to be a pretty routine problem with the flight returning safely to BLK but the non-deployment of a slide is quite worrying assuming it's not in the process of deployment in the photos. I'd imagine Jet2 could have a bit more of an issue on their hands now if so?

Not much luck at present, Edinburgh to Malaga just diverted into East Midlands but I assume medical or minor tech as normal squawk and held quite a while (I assume burning fuel).
As an aside and although not relevant to Jet2 all other inbounds were held one of which was a Titan 763 inbound to EMA with a Thomas Cook positioning flight number.
Not exclusively Jet2 with the problems in the Midlands, as a Monarch A321 aborted take-off at BHX a couple of hours before and closed the runway for about 20 minutes until it was towed off.

Jet2 737 G-CELS had a brake failure today and closed the runway at EMA for a period while surrounded by fire engines, that was why they were holding. G-LSAG positioned down from MAN shortly after so presume took the passengers onwards. Certainly not been a good week for Jet2, especially for the 737s!

I heard from another forum mentioning brakes but in respect of LA which was the EDI-AGP divert but you are saying it was LS that had the bigger problem?
So in effect there were two problems, LS which landed 15.46 and LA that landed 16.17. LA left at 17.05 onward to Malaga - was this a medical divert?

Thank you, I did realise the QC's had a range issue on certain routes but never for one moment thought EDI-AGP would have been a problem, you live and learn.
I assume at the point of booking you get a warning (especially EDI & BFS) that there is a possibility of a fuel-stop or is it deemed far too infrequent to mention? The downside of that of course would be frightening off potential bookings and in that sense I suppose I have answered my own question.
I know slightly different scenario but i have booked Cosmos BHX-Skiathos and it wasn't until the final screen that it said your flight home stops at Kavala. Not quite the same as that is a definite stop and this instance BHX-KVA is also bookable but I would imagine would put a few off.

Fuel stops for Skiathos outbound flights have been the norm for many years depending on the equipment and loads due to the short runway there.

We travelled Jet2 on old LSAD on Friday evening to NCL. Nice flight with a few seats free to get a bit extra room.
Also, nice to get in NCL just under an hour early. It's a shame took almost that hour to see the bags starting to come out.
Is LSAE still under maintenance since the PFO incident? I thought it had returned to MAN a few days ago but doesn't seem to have came back into service.
