It's on Airline Route.net stating that Vueling are starting BHX and also operating ex CWL 3 times a week as of 28 March 2017 with an Airbus A321. The CWL sector going scheduled after initially operating for the 6 Nations Rugby.

Can see nothing on CWL webpage though so it's obviously not "announced" to the public yet.

Vueling in summer 2017 season plans to expand UK service from Paris Orly, including the introduction of Paris Orly – Birmingham route, from 26MAR17. Initially, the airline operates this route 3 times a week (Day 157), gradually increasing to 4 weekly (Day x236) from 04MAY17, 6 weekly (Day x6) by 20JUN17.

Service is operated by Airbus A321 aircraft.

VY9352 ORY1205 – 1235BHX 321 x6
VY9353 BHX1325 – 1555ORY 321 x6

The airline in summer 2017 season will also expand Paris Orly – Cardiff route, previously served on limited-time basis on selected dates. This route will be served for entire summer season from 28MAR17 with Airbus A321, 3 times a week on Day 134.

This is online at "www.routesonline.com" it is clearly printed in there under today's date, the title being:

Vueling adds news Paris Orly - UK flights in S17.

If you read it you can see it's more than an "epic failure"

They are direct as per the Vueling website (at least the BHX ones are!)

The CWL flights are all via BCN as quoted above. Surprised they managed to get ORY slots as the French protect them vigorously.

I think the ORY flights are going to be announced shortly, I know the Vueling webpage show via BCN but they love only just announced BHX so CWL maybe announced shortly....

Especially as it's confirmed on previous posts, if it wasn't true then why would it be recorded there ?

It's a "We Despise the English" thing.

Good to see another route but not sure if it's the most logical especially with an A321! Obviously VY are in a much better position than me to know what will work and what won't.

I wonder if they are selling seats on a positioning flight to CWL? If the a/c is positioning from ORY to CWL to operate to say AGP it may make sense to offer the seats.

It's still showing on routes online as this.........

If it is via BCN then why would they list it here ?? They did not do that with other connections such as those to LPA, TFS etc so why would ORY be different ?

I think it was a route web site that jumped the gun. nothing on cwl or vy web sites. many ppl on other forums not happy. no one can see how a A321 can sustain at 3 per week with fly bee on paris as well.
I'm only repeating with what has been said. I would like to think this is correct as it would be a hell of a coup.
where you see this is where its wrong and jumped the gun.

Looks like most of the Flybe routes are only bookable until beginning of September. Any news?

They sent me an email saying they were looking at CWL for 2017 when they initially launched so maybe they are sticking to their word ? CWL was always mentioned by them as a second phase destination after STN, MAN, DUB and PAR
