A Chinese gent, who is a customer of mine ,his wife works for a GSA IN Dublin, that handles mostly all the Chinese airlines in Ireland , only last Thursday, happen to mention China Eastern likely starting services to DUB in the not too distant future
daa Chief said yesterday in one of the papers that he hopes to have a service to China announced and/or started by end of this year. So it could well be China Eastern.

In the same article he stated that the review into second runway will be completed by end of next month, so we may hear more after that. Ryanair said last week they were happy with the plans they saw however the 59c passenger charge could be a big sticking point...

United

United have announced that EWR will now operate up to 2 daily year round commencing 26 May up to 19 November when it changes to 13 weekly.

Responding to EIs return to EWR....

They do however who knows what will happen when OW comes along soon.

Given EWR is their core route it is not a suprise they have upped frequency and it will be good for prices. They never had a code share on this route and not really looked but EI are not offering connections to them via EWR.

Skyscanner-anna.aero have published an article about un served route of the week and its Miami. 60,000 searches in 2015 via Skyscanner.

Outbound gets a lot more search's than inbound.
LHR (55%), JFK, EWR top transit airports.

With LHR taking 55% share, surly IAG will want to free up those seats with BA/AA and take the rest away from VS by flying a direct route at some stage.

Skyscanner Unserved Route of the Week: Dublin-Miami

Saw the Emirates sitting on the tarmac dark and empty on Thursday coming back from Lisbon.

EI105 has just taken off, circled and landed again. Tech issue?
