Arik Air Redundancies
Arik Air International last week made 18 of its LHR Cabin Crew Redundant, after only two months employment. Reason given, company no longer plans to take delivery of the 2nd A330, now plans to position UK based crew to Lagos then they will operated 330 aircraft only on JNB route. All UK crew now have to work a 20 day on 10 off pattern. Out of the 3 wages UK crew have recieved, one has already been late by 5 days, due to "banking difficulties".
