Just been to Dublin for the day today, loads very healthy, FR173 (OM-AEX) this morning had unquestionably over 100 people onboard, our party of 5 were Seq numbers 106-109 and one checked in about 15 minutes later was seq no 111... I believe this suggests over 111 passengers.
The EI return this evening (EI-FAW) was also looking healthy, 68 +1 pax onboard and a very very nice flight

so get off your local spotter high horse, if you have nothing productive too add you can hop along to a far bigger airport thread ie LGW.

Quite simple really, LGW, MAN etc are much bigger airports that experience these sorts of delays frequently. NCL however is much smaller and experiences delays like this relatively infrequently, hence they become more newsworthy for airports like NCL and the local people who are interested in the happenings at their local airport!

I noticed that DXB had decreases from each UK airport (with NCL being the largest in terms of % as you would expect), I also noticed that leisure routes to Spain, including the canaries, Greece, Turkey etc. All had decreases as well, does anybody know why? Was their something last June that caused loads to be somewhat increased? For example (unrelated) I know that fluctuations in the timing of easter can cause March and April to have peaks on certain years but I'm confused with June...
Thank you
